About the position
You will be joining our growing Fire Services team.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Plus, any reasonable overtime.
After-hours and weekend on-call rotating roster.
The position involves but is not limited to:
- Exercise the skills involved in fire services, portable testing of Fire equipment, Exit & emergency light testing,Testing of fire alarm systems, defect repairs, installation of Fire equipment.
- Execute safe and effective work practices to complete tasks to a high standard.
- Establish and follow work procedures to meet task schedules.
- Analyse and resolve unforeseen work challenges and problems and/or
- assist other workers in solving these problems.
- Report on the status of uncompleted jobs for future programming of works.
What we need
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Sound knowledge of the Australian Standards.
- High level of fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety legislation.
- The ability to work quickly and pay close attention to detail.

- FPA accredited or willing to obtain.
